Hi, Rye Neck is within Mamaroneck and therefore not a separate town. Unfortunately, most of these public search sites don't have filters for school district. Agents can search specifically for Rye Neck in the MLS though.

Hi Christina & Adam, I grew up in Rye and can tell you it is very community oriented. If you are looking for a vibrant nightlife there isn't much but a few cool bars. White Plains has the best nightlife in Westchester in terms of activity and options. I love Rye because of it's warmth, proximity to the beach, hiking trails, and everything else. There are many buildings that have a mixed variety of professionals, for sure. Hope this helps! ... more

The building specializes in Medical offices. What you are seeing is part of the doctors turnover. The building competes with Rye Brook medical offices just about a mile down the road.

Commercial rental has been improving - offices. We had some increased retail space inventory this year, but that too has been improving along Purchase street.

OK, this is totally not a right "section" for this, but I saw couple of realtors here and need huge favor from all willing parties - we live in Hoboken, NJ and are looking to move to Weschester County, NY (high schools in Hoboken area is an issue). Our son needs a high school, he will be starting 10th grade this Fall. I know absolutely nothing about Rye, Rye Brook, Blind Brook, etc.
Will anyone please tell me which school district shell we go for??? ...where to rent?, which town is best fro commuting to the city???
This is just in hopes that kind strangers in Rye will be willing to help me out - I've never lived in suburbs, and it is all a little intimidating...
We are ready to move before the start of the new 2013 school year, looking to rent a house/condo/townhouse/apartment... 3bdr, 2bth ... up to $3700 mo
We have a Toy Yorkie, she is 7 years old and fabulous! She is our family, so Pet Friendly is a must...
We are responsible tenants with spotless rental history, references are provided, if needed. We are currently living on a waterfront of Hoboken, NJ in a high-rise building, so we are open to any type of a rental property...
Please, contact me at lewiso2005@yahoo.com if you think you have it in your heart to help the "city dwellers" with any useful info and directions you feel we should take... Thank you so much!!! Sincerely, FreeO

Believe you're referring to what was initially referred to as " Rye Colony Apartments". That complex is not condos but in fact co-ops. Don't know what the by-laws are re: renting them out, do know that dogs are not allowed. However, it's always seemed peculiar odd, per my perspective, that those units were undervalued compared to therest of Rye's Real Estate Market.
Incredibly convenient for commuters since train station is practically across the street. Also convenient to walk downtown to Post Office, etc.
Don't know if any garages are available. I expect the price reflects unit w/out garage. Originally, I believe all 2 bedroom units had the bathroom upstairs.
All units have back decks. depending on location of unit size and privacy of deck vary.
I like them, personally.
