Hi Deb,
Just to expand on what Elizabeth said, there is only 1 bathroom, but it has a doorway from the bedroom and from the hall way. This is what is called a shared bathroom. If you have any interest, it is best to see the home in person & determine if it will meet your needs.

You can give me a call as well if you want to see it or any other home.

Take care,

The owner would consider a rent-to-own option on this home. The rental price would be the same at $1200/month. He is also willing to sell the home, which is one the market for $129,000, on land contract with 10% down. It would be at 4% interest amortorized over 30 years and a 3 year balloon. The payments on the purchase would be less than the payment for rent. If this is something of interest to you, contact me and we can talk about it further.

The taxes on this home are 7,393.27 for 2010.
Did you know you can look up the tax records and the history of the taxes on the assessors website

http://www.lakecountyil.gov/Assessor/AssessmentInformation/PropertyTaxAssessmentInfo/Pages/Default.aspx

Just put in the address and you can find out the tax bill and square footage of the home if available. It is really a great website with useful information.
Feel free to contact me with any other questions you may have.

To answer your question about my question, I use to live there from 1964 until 1973. So I was just wondering how many owners there had been and who they were. Just out of curiosity, nothing…

This is a bank owned (foreclosed) property. A realtor can show it to you anytime. Since Sunday is a typical open house day, I suggest you make an appointment for Sunday.

Mike Stodola answered:
Mr. Nunez,
This house needed work and was sold as a "short sale". This typically means the seller was behind in payments and owed more on the home than it was worth. The bank agreed to take a deep discount in order to avoid the foreclosure process. If you're looking for homes in that area that are a steal, I saw one the other day listed at $79,000 that was very similar to this home. I'd be happy to get you more information, it's a great time to buy!

Good luck,
Mike Stodola
