Justyna, this seems like a surprising reaction from the realtor and their broker - to me. Of course I'm not looking at the agreement, but I can hardly imagine the bad word of mouth they'll receive from you is worth the 285.00. Sometimes the 'chemistry' isn't there between an agent and seller, and they are both better off moving on, but there should have been a discussion about the marketing plan in the beginning. By now, you know that nobody is going to assemble a group of agents hungry for your services that you can talk to - you need to go out there, one-on-one. Go to Sunday open houses, looking for the ones where the listing agent is different than the showing agent - new agents hold houses open to meet clients. Network. Talk to existing clients about their agents.

And have something valuable ready to offer. Help a new agent do a mailing for an upcoming open house that you can sit with them, for example.
