It sounds like you are trying to sell your home yourself. If that is the case I would suggest you get your home on the local Multiple Listing Service (MLS). You can find companies that will do this for a flat fee. I would search on the internet under something like "FSBO
MLS listings." Make sure you are dealing with a reputable company by interviewing others who have used the same service.
Once your home is on the local MLS, it should get picked up by all the internet real estate websites, including Trulia. It also will be seen by local real estate agents, who might have buyers. Be aware, however, that these agents will want a commission.
If you are a "For Sale by Owner" seller, you also will hear from some agents who want to list your home. They know that most FSBOs eventually list with an local agent because the process of selling a home is difficult.
Two things: first of all, there is nothing wrong with trying to sell your own home, so don't let anyone tell you that you should not try. Second don't hesitate to ask these agents questions you might have. They know the odds are good that you will eventually list with a local professional and they usually are willing to help out with a few answers while you are trying to sell by yourself. You will learn something from these agents and you probably will find an agent that you would be comfortable working with if you finally decide to go with a full-service pro.
I hope this helps.
