I don't see why you wouldn't be able to purchase a reverse osmosis system. Even if there is not a local retailer, we live in the age of online shopping. It seems like there would be considerable demand for the systems in the area. I don't think you will have any trouble finding a water purification solution.

You can contact the listing agent who will be able to help you learn more about that specific property (and probably will know a lot about similar properties in the area). To find an agent, just click on the yellow button on the property's Trulia listing and you will be able to start a dialogue.

Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can help with anything else. I am happy to be a resource for you. Good luck with the search!

Best,
Ali

Hi Sally,

For rentals, try the following web sites:

http://santafe.craigslist.org/apa/
http://www.rentals.com/New-Mexico/Espanola/

Be careful whe using web sites like Craigslist. There can be people listing properties as a scam. Be sure to check them out thoroughly.

Best regards,

The security deposit is generally for damages only related to the physical condition of the property. In NM, you most likely will have to refund him his security deposit and seek a judgement from Muncipal Court for the back rent.

Not the answer you want to hear but that is the scoop.
