Carlymeo answered:
One way to find foreclosure listings, is call a professional Realtor and they can send you Colin county foreclosure listings. However, in today's market, foreclosure listings are not always the least expensive listings. I suggest you give your Realtor your criteria on what you are looking for and the maximum price you are willing to spend and then from there you will get a list of properties that match your wants.

Dixon Wong answered:
Hi Cordia,

I am glad to hear that your life is heading to the right direction. The lender don't expect you to tell them any maintenance issues with the home. We all can see that you are a responsible person and trying to do the best you can.

Please let me know if you want a sale comp analysis. At the current market, it might be the best to look at the option to sell the home and downsize to get your feet back on the ground.

You can email me at dixondfw@gmail.com I will be more than happy to send you some sale analysis.

Thanks

Dixon

As others have said any Realtor can give you access to a foreclosure list. The thing that fascinates me is why so many people want foreclosures. Frankly these are homes that either have not been maintained by their owners because they know they are losing the property or the banks have had them in inventory for months & months while all the time the property sits without any maintenance, watering of foundation etc. Sometimes a bargain in not a bargain! ... more

Hi Jenny, If you only have $30,000 cash have your agent submitt your bid. THere is really no way to know what will get accepted because the HUD bids are submitted electronically through a blind bidding process. If all you have is $30,000 it doesn't sound like you have a much of a choice. You do not risk anything by submitting the bid! Good Luck! ... more

Look for East Plano School Dt. Wylie School Dt has more land available further construction. The new homes that are getting build in this area are close to .5 million while old/~1997 homes on the east side of Breckenridge park are under 300k. One other plus for this area is that George Bush Hwy is getting extended to Mesquite. Which could bring in a flood of new buyers wanting to be in East Plano School dt that is superior to any Schools in Mesquite/Rowlett area.
My home @ 5403 Enfield Dr. is up for Sale. Let me know if you are interested in seeing it.
