section 8 is accepted in some places and not others. You need to find out which building accept section 8 by calling the people who send you that voucher. I recommend you are proactive in that search as it's not something commonly known by agents then go to the office in the area you want to rent and see if someone can help you

I have a great history with my previous landlords and am willing to provide the owners with adequate references and a criminal background check. I will need assistance in searching for a new place to live and also an owner that is aware that there’s an inspection screening process. This might suite owners whose leases will end in the February and may be in search of a tenant.
