Well, Cynthia,... The last answer you got kind of told you how tight the rental market is, but it didn't help you much. The problem is, you did not specifiy where you want to live. This is a BIG county!
After reviewing what's available in the N.E. part of the Mid-Cities area, I find several 4-bedroom houses between $1300 and $1400. There are NO 4 bedrooms below $1300. period. Some of the ones on this list may have a second living area, but many will not. So we need to zero in on the area that you want to live in before we can answer your question.
The dogs will exclude some houses. Be prepared to pay a huge deposit, or extra rent.
The "credit issues" you did not define. I suggest you do that privately with me, and not on here in public. I have been certified as a Credit Repair Instructor, so I may be able to help you bring yoru score up. (Contact me directly.) But a property manager is going to look at your last two rental histories, as well as the criminal background check. There may be some landlords who will not rent to you, but it depends on what they see on your report. Do you have a copy of it??
I can also help you save some money on your electric bills, no matter who you rent a house from. So contact me before you get ready to hook up your utilities, and I'll get you some good rates. (I work for an energy company in Dallas.)
How soon do you need to move? This is another piece of missing information. If you want to get settled before Halloween, then we need to get busy right away. Contact me as soon as you can. Email is shown below.
