Where can I get help to rent with poor credit but high paying job with a major corporation? As well as who can help me begin to repair this debt?

Asked by Unspecified, Mon Sep 16, 2013

Recently moved to Dallas from Chicago after I accepted the above mentioned position. I took the leap as a responsible decision as the economy in Dallas is significantly greater as well as the salaries. I am willing to make whatever arrangements are necessary - and have grown particularly fond of the Deep Ellum, Oak Cliff, Greenville and Medical District neighborhoods. I don't have a criminal history, and have reputable professional references. I made a few mistakes at a young age that have hung around no matter how hard I tried to shake them. I would appreciate any guidance both for finding a lease and a company or firm that can help me relieve this debt in a manageable way now that I have almost doubled my previous salaries.

A lot of people rent because of credit issues. Many landlords will overlook that as long as you have the income to pay the rent. (which it sounds like you do) I don't know what your credit score is but some lenders will go as low as 530.

I can put you in touch with people that can help you repair your credit. If you have your sights on renting until you are able to buy, I can certainly help you with that.

Please let me know if I can be of assistance.

Are you wanting to rent a home/apartment? Most of what Landlords look for is rental & criminal history. If you have dont have a criminal history but poor rental history, some properties will work with you but require a double deposit. There are quite a few that will work with broken leases/evections. As far as credit repair, I can put you in touch with a great company who can help you.

Start by contacting any lender of your choice and get real, hard answers from them on what to do for a FHA loan. Then do it. There is no such thing as credit repair. So don't waste your money. It cannot be done. Only time and paying on time can fix it.

Depending upon how bad your credit is and/or whether you have eviction, landlords may accept your application but will require 2 month deposit.

I highly suggest that you work to repair your credit, it will be beneficial for you down the road. If you need a name or two let me know.

Take care,

We have a program that, for some people (even with credit issues), you can rent a home that is currently on the market for sale, and have the option to purchase it during your first three years of renting - which would give you time to work on credit issues so that you can obtain a mortgage. If you are interested, I will put you in touch with one of our real estate agents who can help you find out if you're a good fit for this program. Contact me at marketing@judgefite.com.
