I am an agent and I have recently closed a deal on a small rental. These tenants swore that it will be only 3 people living in the house and they will be in there only on the weekends. They needed to rent a house only for a short-term because their house was damaged by Sandy. I have convinced the landlord to come down in the price because obviously they will be using it so little. And she did, she came down and gave them a good deal. Now, we find out that it is 4 people in the house and they are there 4-5 days a week. We didn't mention anything about it in the lease. Now the landlord thinks that I am responsible for it. What should I do?
