What's usually the minimum credit score/income to rent a townhome in the Central NJ area?

It will vary by landlord and if you are working with an agent, the agent's idea of an acceptable credit score, too.
I am the rental manager in my office. When agents come to me for help, I advise them that mid 6's is an acceptable score.
However, if your score is less than 600 you still might be able to get a rental. Message me through Trulia or my website below if you need suggestions.

When you rent, you are dealing directly with a Landlord. It will be their decision what they find acceptable. If you have special circumstances, let them know. Landlords appreciate the honesty.
