One other place you may try is WestsideRentals.com. I usually put my rental listings on there and on Craigslist as well as on our MLS. All of these places will list whether they will allow pets. I would be happy to forward listings from the MLS as well and have handled rentals in the Orange County area for many of my clients. If you are looking to rent by July you should start looking beginning of June as most landlords will not hold the rental for July without negotiating an earlier move-in date.

Depending on what you can afford to pay in rent, houses will be more dog friendly than condos and townhomes and they will have a weight limit on the dog most of the time and usually it is 25-30 lbs in condos. Townhomes can be more flexible.

As the others I would be happy to help.

Good Luck!

Hi, You can check out http://www.Craigslist.com, this site will provide listings that are for rent by owner and broker so you can choose. Otherwise you can contact an agent and work directly with them.

Find a Realtor who specializes in the area you're targeting - one who does rentals.

Scour the ads in the O.C. Register and the twice weekly Pennysaver.

And devote most of your time searching Craigslist - being VERY careful to avoid Nigerian type rental scams. ( If the price seems too good to be true, it is probably a scam.)
