Water usage depends on the number of people in the household and how you use water. I spoke to United Water who serves most of Newark and they say that their minimum charge is $36.27. The way you use water increases the charges...is there a pool?, do you do laundry everyday, do you water the lawn and outside plants?, do you have company that visits regularly?

For 2 people in a home that does laundry at least 5 days a week, do not have a pool and do little outside watering (trying to conserve) the bill is approximately $100. Billing is every 3 months. Water usage during the year also affect the sewer bill you receive from the County at the end of January.

Hope this helps. Probably the cheapest utility you can have. Just a little over a dollar a day for great water.

It's Newark, Delaware. I believe Alameda County is in California.

I suggest that you call the Alameda County Water District and ask them that question. Their phone is 510-668-4200.

Much will depend on usage; you can ask your agent the question, current owner/tenant, or directly contact the water company and ask....
