What are the "good" parts of town/suburbs and "bad"? Can you take a walk after dark, etc. (been to city data, would like a human now)

Understand, you can do research all night and its not going to tell the full story. My advice take your price point and find three to five comparable properties in different parts of town, then visit the properties. This is the only full sure way to see if an area is right for you.

Good Morning,

Unfortunately Realtors can not answer questions worded like that. It may be considered steering: which is the act of encouraging consumers to avoid certain neighborhood or area. It is great that you are doing research before selecting an area to live in. I recommend searching the internet for sites that provide unbiased accurate information. Most government sites will have the best information with regards to any area. You can go to the following sites to help assist you with your search. I assume you are asking what are the safest and most dangerous parts of town. For that answer I suggest checking the crime statistics as anything else would be someones opinion. Here is a good link to see what crimes are reported to the Sherrifs Office. http://spotcrime.com/fl/jacksonville

While every community has it's less desirable parts of town, what one person considers bad, another person may feel completely at home in. Also, affordability plays a key role in what community you may choose to live in. Ponte Vedra is a very nice, ocean side community with multi million dollar homes. Springfield is a relatively inexpensive historic community close to downtown. While it is fairly safe, it does have it's share of gritty urban street life. So it just depends on what you're looking for.
