Asked by Scott, Phoenix, AZ Mon Feb 28, 2011

1700 SF single story, built in 2007 in west valley. Recently installed sprinkler system in backyard. Fully landscaped (no grass in front yard. New tenant moved in January 2011 with a 17 month contract. I am moving out of state and need a designated property manager. Anyone have any recommendations or thoughts on a reasonable price I should expect?

Hi Scott. I almost forgot...Kendra works Valley-wide, NOT just in the East Valley. She will also run the rental comps in the area of your home and give you a good idea of what to charge for monthly rent.

Hi Scott. I would give my highest recommendation to the following property manager:

Kendra Gregory, Realtor
Property Manager
Apartment Hunters Property Management
1660 S Alma School Rd Suite 205
Mesa, AZ 85210
480-650-6340 Direct
480-969-9780 Fax
Email: kendra@ah-az.com

An out-of-state client of mine recently signed-up with Kendra and her company to manage his rental/investment property here in Mesa. They are very reasonable with their monthly fees, and Kendra is VERY thorough and professional. She would be more than happy to speak with you regarding their business principles and rates.

Good luck!

Hi Scott,

Call Pam Desmond or her assistant Stephanie Cunningham with Realty Executives, (480) 948-9450. All she does is property management and has been ranked #1 for several years in a row. Even though you're in Avondale she manages property all over the Valley. Seriously, you'll be glad you did. Tell her I referred you to her! ~Robin, Realty Executives

7% of the monthly rent would be reasonable amount to pay per month for a property management fee. Plus any additional one time fees for leasing the unit.
