rent. I have a decent budget of $4K - per month to spend - but - does not seem to be that many homes for rent? Indeed, there seems to be tons of homes for sale - just curious as to why there are only a handful of home rentals?? (BTW - The CDW is a concern as well) Opinions? THX.

You have received two very good and honest answers so far. The truth is the best rentals go very fast. What I can offer you is immediate emails notifications of new listings for rent. Your best opportunity is going to be to have a jump on a rental that is brand new to the market and be the first qualified tenant to see it. I would be happy to discuss the techniques that I use to be sure that you get that jump on the competition anytime.

Hey Peter,

The rental market has been very strong for sme time now. That's why investors are having a great time in this market. Everything is on sale, and everything rents!

With so many people getting kicked out of their homes, either due to short sale or foreclosure, they have to find a place to rent.

It's well known that Parkland has very good schools and is overall a great community.

We moved to Parkland for two reasons, large lots and good schools.

Sometimes, sellers who are having a hard time selling their house in this market, may be persuaded to rent their house in the meantime. I had a neighbor who did just that. He could not find anything on the market, so he contacted the owner of a house that was posted on craigslist and made a deal.

Always happy to help!

Hi Peter,

I'd be glad to help you I live and work in Parkland. The reason the rental market is so strong, is that everyone who short sold their home in Parkland still wants their children to be in Parkland schools (rated #1 by Forbes magazine). So leading up to school starting in August, a lot of inventory was rented. At $4k you shouldn't have a problem though. Please give me a call and I'll be glad to help you.
