Moving out of my apartment by November 9th. Need to find a 1-1 for no more than 800. Is it possible?

Asked by mdkardos, Austin, TX Sun Sep 16, 2012

My wife and I currently live in the Farwest neighborhood and have been here for two years. Slowly, our apartment complex keeps raising our rent and it is now getting to be too much. We are open to all sorts of possibilities but ideally we would hope to find a small house somewhere for rent by owner. Is this possible and if so, how do I go about finding one?

Good afternoon.

I doubt you'll find a hous for $800 these days, but you can surely find a 1/1 condo or townhome in that price range. If you would like a list of potential properties, just send me an E-mail or call me with details about you (for instance, do you have pets?) and the area(s) you would consider. I'll respond with a list of available properties which fit your needs, and also set you up for notification directly from the MLS system so you'll be one of the first to know if anything that fits your needs shows up.
