ROI depends on how much you buy the home as well as the rent it can fetch you. Many areas in Plano can qualify as good rentals.

Any area in the West Plano area is great rental.

You just need to be sure to get properties at a good price to make the ROI work.

You can visit my website at http://www.findyourtexashome.com/plano

Hi Debra-

I'm currently working with several investors that asked the same question. There are many areas in Plano where renting has been very good for my investors.

There are a few surrounding areas as well that have the same return and rent quickly.

Feel free to send me your information and I will be happy to help you find quality investment property.

Don't limit yourself just to Plano.
ROI can vary, but price is key.
The most demand is probably in neighborhoods where the rent is under $1500 so you can back into what price you need to be to hit your return targets.
For most investors that would be under $150,000 purchase price.

Everyone has their own strategy though and lots of different ones work.

Check out some of the houses listed below.
Be prepared to move quickly.....the great ones get snatched up in a day right now.

Right now most rental homes are moving fast. Depending on your price point, and how you decide to purchase (cash/financing, move-in ready/repair first) your return on your investment will vary....but either way I would expect a positive cash flow in a very short period of time.

If you want to see a list of homes available for sale and also a list of homes available that have leased, just let me know.

It depends on the individual home and subdivision. Typically homes in highly regarded school lease faster. You may want to check http://www.greatschool.net in addition to schooldigger.com. What is your price range?

Let me know if you need help finding an investment property, I'm also an investor and have helped many investor clients find their property. You can call or text me.

Debra, I would look at which elementary schools and their ratings to determine which neighborhoods would have a strong ROI. http://Www.schooldigger.com is an excellent website for specific info on schools. Give me a call and we can discuss further.
