Check into HOYO, home of your own, for help with getting down payment on a house, outside the city of Dallas. This is for people who have an income and are disabled or who have a disabled relative in the household. Google or Bing it. Or check with REACH of Dallas on King George in Dallas.

Have you checked into a VA loan?

Whats going on brother! I am a Navy/Army vet as well. As Lynn mentioned 3X your income is the general rule of thumb, but some landlords can look past that especially since you are a veteran. I am sure you are getting disability as well, correct? I would stay in one price range so you dont waste alot of money on application fee's.

if you are needing any help give me a call (469) 855-9558. Or you can visit my website at http://www.TopDoggRealEstate.com

3 x's your income is the rule of thumb either rent an apartment or a home . It is a safety measure to assist the person rent a property they can afford. Recommend lower stay within the guidelines for your search you can waste a ton of money on application fees be declined every time.
