It really depends on the owner. How picky they are, how desperate they are, or whatever ever reasons they may have. 2 out of 3 sounds good to me though!
What it really comes down to is: Can you guys pay the rent.

Meaning: do you all have a steady job, do you have decent credit, what debts do you have?
As long as you can prove you can the rent each month, you should be all set!

Good luck!

That is going to depend on the individual owner and/or manager rules for their leases. You will need to ask the landlord.

Yes if you are planning to own an apartment then good credit score or history will definitely help you to get housing loan without much trouble, though you need to be thorough with the terms & condition, along with rate of interest. & if you are planning to rent out, then the situation may vary from owner to owner.

Yes but in the long run the tenants could move out with the good credit report leaving the lone tenant with bad credit. Theirs many different ways this could play out. So it's best to go over the application and credit reports very carefully.

Every landlord will have their own opinion on this. If the 2 people with good credit can cover the rent using less than 30% of their income then that may help.
