This property definitely is not for rent. It is listed in our multipe listing service for $189,900. I'd be happy to refer to an agent in that area if you'd like to take a closer look and start working with a trusted Realtor who can help you avoid these kinds of scams.
Agent, Coldwell Banker
It is a scam. Someone keeps taking the same agent's sale listings and claiming there are for rent. I contacted the listing agent about another property that had the same question and he confirmed it was a scam.

Where did you see the listing? There's no indication in the Multiple Listing Service that it has been listed for rent. Please be careful...there are a LOT of scams out there, as people have described below. If you are looking for a house to rent, your best bet is to work with an agent who is familiar with the area and will protect you from fraud. There's no charge to you for their services, and you'll get both the correct information about the market and peace of mind. Good luck!
There are two big signs of a rental scam - if the price is too good to be true and if the details are a little fishy, like they will send you the keys or if they don't go through a normal screening process and want you to send money. If it is on the market for sale, possible it is also for rent. But chances are - it is a scam. Contact the listing agent and find out.
Ask the person who has a phone number to contact. I'm sure they are only going to do a month to month rental. Is that worth your time? Hate to move in to find out that the new owner wants you out. If the rental starts in December, spring market starts in March. Is 3 months worth your time, your moving expense, etc?
