I need a wheelchair accessible place to rent 2 or 3 br and low income base

Asked by Dexterrutledge, Fairfield, CA Sun Aug 4, 2013

Hey I'm looking for a low income place that is 2 bedroom and wheelchair accessible. Low income cause I get SSI every month and I have no job. Plus I need to be able to manuever my wheelchair in and out bethroom, kitchen etc. When I say low income, I mean places that base your monthly rent on your income. I'm willing to live in Berkeley and El Cerrito but my 1st option is Oakland

Try Providence House in Oakland. This is an affordable, and accessible housing building for people with disabilities. I have two friends that have lived there for a while. Rent is based on income and it's a decent place to live.
