I just got a 60 day notice to leave my apartment. do i have to pay rent for thr 2 moths before i move to get back security?

Review your lease agreement as the answer more than likely can be found in the document...

read the terms of your lease and the obligations you have.

I hope you have documented everything from the condition (you should of been provided a property condition statement) of the property when you moved in to the condition you are leaving the premises. Take photo's.

If the notice is a routine end of lease notice, you should continue staying and paying until the end. You can claim refund after properly moving out leaving the apartment broom cleaned and in no worse condition besides normal wear and tear.
If the notice is for cure or breach of contract, first see if you are at fault. If not, you should response with your defense or go to housing court, where you will find free legal help.

Yes, security deposit cannot be used to apply towards the last month's rent, in most cases. you will need to make rent payments until you move out. Upon vacating, the owner has 21 days to return the security deposit to you
