I am looking for a one bedroom in Belmont Heights (close to the VA Hospital as possible). Has to be a place that accepts HUD/VASH... any suggestions?

Most landlords are unfamiliar with the HUD/VASH program, so it is up to you to educate them by knowing how much the program pays, the length of time of the rental comittment and your contribution amount, if any. I suggest you contact the City of Long Beach Housing Authority which appears to be the administrator of the VASH program in Long Beach at the below website:
