I would suggest you try the regular rental sites:

http://www.craigslist.com
http://www.apartments.com
http://www.trulia.com (Rentals Section)
http://www.zillow.com (Rentals Section)
http://www.realtor.com (Rentals Section)

Between all of those, you will get a very clear picture if you can find what you are looking for. Good luck!

Hi Malerie,

Middleton is very popular and Land Lords post 60 to 90 days in advance. Check Craig's List but do not ever send money.....drive the neighborhoods and call the numbers on the signs. Because Middleton is so popular dollars spent on advertising is little. You have to be efficient and quick in your search methods. Target and area you like and watch for turn-over.

Ask other renters where they have had luck in the past....talk to people - word of mouth is sometimes your best bet.

Good luck

Are you only looking to rent? At that price range, you would have some options for purchase if you wanted to do that. In this market, you can often purchase something for a cheaper or similar price than you could rent that same place for.

I have a house coming available for rent in Middleton. Occupancy date depends on closing the current tenants have scheduled.

Marlene,

I would check with the property management companies. You can google "property management in Madison, WI" and I'm sure you will find a list. Another good source is sabatical.com.

Good Luck.
