Hi Walter,
Welcome to the USA! :)
Not having credit history is not necessarily a bad thing, it just means you are like a white canvas...but you will need to prove you have a source of income (employment, retirement funds, etc) in order to pay for rent each month. Some landlord will require you to put either a larger deposit or pay extra months of rent ahead. If you are looking to rent for less than a year you can try VRBO.com hope this info helps. :)
Wish you much success! Please let us know how it goes.

I have proof of employment since i will be coming to the US for a job , and i`m looking to rent a apartment in a complex and figured i better ask in advance to know what to expect , i have seen a lot of this communities emphasize they want credit check and background info.
As mentioned here i think i`l have no problem if i`m willing to pay a larger deposit.

You will probably need a larger deposit than normal. The Property management company or landlord will perform a credit check, criminal check and check your references.

Hello Walter:

If this is question about rental...In Orlando there are places that will honor a lease rental after a criminal background, eviction background and up to 4 months deposit or advanced rent depends if the Landlord and Buyer accepts the terms of the rental agreement. The typical deposit for a person that has acceptable credit, rental history and criminal histoy is only no deposit in apartments and 1 month deposit on condos.

Monthly rent prices close to Universal Studios area about:

1 bedroom apartment or condo $700.00 us -$1,000.00 us
2 bedroom apartment or condo $800.00 us - $1,200.00 us
3 bedroom apartment or condo $900.00 us - $1,500.00 us

This is based in the season that we are now (June 2013). Prices and Terms vary depends on the Landlord.

If you will buy it in cash, no problem. If you need finance, you must have at least 20% for down payment plus closing cost. If you need it to make a contract lease for a year you must give 2 or 3 security deposit plus monthly rental payment.
