The city of Santa Monica no longer allows short term rentals. It's completely Illegal now,and banned from the city. You are better off staying in L.A. If you do find someone one to rent short term in Santa Monica, they are not suppose too and will get a large fine if the city finds out. They usually do always find out because neighbors call the city and report.

Hi John,
Thank you for your kindly reply.
we already checked some of this addresses, but almost all are for long term rental. We need for short term, because we are coming on a vacation: my wife, me and our daughter 5 y.o. and we would like to stay one month and a half...
we also tried homeaway and airbnb, but we would rather book with some property manager or agency than with a person directly..
We need to find an agent

Thank you
Marino
