Do owners prefer lock boxes or an agent to handle showings when renting?

Definitely a lock box. An agent can only be so many physical places at once and when someone is ready to view your home, you want them to be able to gain access as quickly as possible. Waiting around for a busy agent to show up to open the front door could cost you the showing altogether. Today's buyers aren't looking to wait around. There are plenty more houses on the market to view if yours is unavailable when they are interested in taking a look. We have our own showing service that handles all scheduling and access to ensure efficiency of showings. After all, if people can't see the inside of your home, chances are very slim that they will actually submit an offer.
