Good afternoon, Sussi:
If the horse is important and you want to be relatively close to Charlotte, you will probably find the most opportunities in Union County and North Mecklenburg, then possibly, Cabarrus and Gaston counties Here is a map of area stables, horse boarding and equestrian facilities: I'd find the place for the horse first, then check the schools, then find the pre-k then find a home within a reasonable distance from them. Here are some rental sites that might help.

Are you looking to buy or rent? Are you making a job transfer that you will need to be close to?

Hello sussi I believe you are looking for a rental home. A great site to check would be the tr lawing site they are a charlotte property management company. I would be more than happy to send you a charlotte relocation package. Just email me you mailing address. A good site to check would for school ratings. I currently have two children in full time daycare and pay 2000 a month. If you find this helpful please rate this as best Anwser. Have a great day!

Hi Sussi, if you are wanting a horse, you will have to focus on areas outside of Charlotte proper, as one cannot own a horse inside the city limits and there is simply not the land required to properly board a horse. Some great equestrian communities are Weddington & Waxhaw in Union Co, as well as Ft Mill/Indian Land in SC. You will find many opportunities to either have enough land to board your own horses, or a number of excellent facilities nearby. The schools are highly-rated as well. As far as nursery rates, are you asking about the cost per week or are you asking about their ratings? Both, of course, vary by locale and facility, but you will have no problem finding one that fits your family's needs, as well as budget.

Here is a site where you can get a lot of great info regarding horse ownership in Union Co -…

Good luck with your move - you and your family will love it here! Kathleen Turner, ABR, CRS, ePro

Hi Sussie
If you take your home buying process in steps and have those steps in the right order you substantially improve your prospects. The first is to find an experienced ethical loan officer you can trust. Than determine the loan that will best serve you and the monthly payment you can handle. Than you will have a purchase price to research your market. Than obtain a list of every house for sale in your price range in the area you would like to live in and at least drive by every one of them. Than have your agent show you the best ones. With this process you will learn your market and it will not be necessary to rely on anyones opinion of value. Go to and you will find a step by step process that will serve you well. The articles are the seminar that 25,0000 first time home buyers have attended. The articles are numbered to help clarify the proceedure. Read all of them and you will become one savvy home owner. Most importantly find experienced ethical people to work for you that you can trust. The site outlines a very specific process for finding and indentifying those people. Good Luck. Owning a home will change your life, for the better. Stephen Webber.
