Can i get approve then denied for an apartment after already getting a move-in date because the rental history?

I got approve for an apartment , i signed a least, paid for the deposits in full then getting a move-in date. Two days before moving in i get a call saying that I've been denied due the rental history that barely came through.

Did the landlord sign the lease as well? So then you had a fully executed lease?

I would consult a real estate attorney but if it is a fully signed lease and there is nothing in there that states otherwise I would assume the landlord can not make you move out but you need to consult with a CA attorney.
