Can anyone offer any good advice on how to find an apartment with bad credit?

Asked by Sandra Carzado, 19611 Wed Mar 13, 2013

I'm new to the Philadelphia area and am looking for a one bedroom apartment. I'm an excellent tenant with a great job and stable work history but am having no luck finding a potential landlord who is willing to consider me. Any help you can provide would be tremendously appreciated. Searching in East Falls/ Roxborough/ Mt. Airy , but willing to expand my search if needed.

Good evening Sandra,

Its usually the norm to provide a Co-Signer that would be responsible for all Obligations of the lease that you would apply for.

Hi Sandra;
I suggest looking for a rental home that is not in the hands of a real estate company.Owners handling the property his/her self may be more lienient.If tgat does not work then a co-signer would be a good choice.
Good luck to you;
