It depends on the landlord. Some will allow it, some won't. If you think it is the right apartment for you then you should see if there are any restrictions.

Jeffrey,

Legally is (2) people per room. Lots of Landlords and management companies don't accept it. It's also a saftey issue.

2 people per room in a standard 1 BR (which is typically 3 rms) allows for 4 people when not counting the kitchen (which you cant for that purpose).
