I am looking for a short lease (6 mo.) on a 1-2br from Feb-Jul near Tempe and I won't be employed during that timeframe. Would a landlord be more likely to sign a lease with me if I offered to pay the entire 6 months rent upfront? If so, would it be possible to get a discount by doing so?
