Are you specifically looking for something within the Dallas city limits, or are you open to any surrounding suburbs? There are also some additional areas such as Garland, Rowlett, Rockwall and Heath which surround Lake Ray Hubbard. You also have Lake Lewisville, or even the canal area of Las Colinas/Irving, plus many more.

Just wanted to throw some other options out there, in addition to the excellent areas near White Rock Lake that other agents have already posted here.

If you'd like, I'm happy to help show you properties anywhere in Dallas or surrounding cities to find your next home, and my services would not be of any cost to you either. Please take a tour of my website when you have a moment, and contact me if I can be of assistance, thanks!

Lakewood or Lower Greenville.
White Rock Lake is about the only real water feature I can think of.

What's your budget?

You can see rental properties in the area here at this link:

Like other agents have mention, the lake closest to uptown and downtown is White Rock Lake. Lakewood has a lot of old homes with great charm!

You can visit http://www.findyourtexashome.com/leasing for properties in the area.

You should definitely consider the Lakewood area and any where on Greenville south of Mockingbird. I would be happy to provide you options.

The closest lake to downtown is White Rock lake. I suggest something around lower Greenville. It's got lots of restaraunfs and shops, the homes have a lot if character and it is a short drive or long walk to white rock. Give me a call if you are interested. 817-312-6034
