Dear Ed:

If you engage a Realtor, may rent faster and they will determine what similar homes have rented for with the same condition of your property.

If you do this yourself? Check Zillow and other RE websites as well as the classifieds and drive around an look at other rentals in your particular neighborhood. Place ads on Craigslist and the newspaper.

Don't forget to get a good lease contract, credit application and tenant move in and move out checklist if you decide to do this on your own. A Realtor can do all of this for you if you choose to go that route.

May I wish you the best.

Regards, Jeff

Ed, if you're going to do this yourself, you'll need to do some research. You may be able to find comparable rentals in the area of the subject property (not sure "where" the property is located?) on this site and many other internet sites. In the alternative, you can ask a Realtor/Agent familiar with the subject's area to provide you some comps and have that person list for you.
