We have a great rental history of paying on time for the last 4 years. Our property manager is claiming that our dogs have damaged property, on which we had put down a hefty deposit when we transferred within the complex, with no problems. Like I said, we have a great history of timely payment but she refuses to allow us to renew because our dogs tore up some blinds (cheap blinds that they can replace at moment's notice) and left a couple stains on the carpet that I've made the effort to clean. I'm not looking for our deposit back, but I don't want this to make it difficult for us to find another place to rent. We don't mind a deposit and we just hope the new landlord will give us a chance. We're willing to pay a deposit.
