signed a document, but the landlord is fully aware of me and approves of me. Additionally I own everything in the apt from the paint on the walls to furniture and appliances. The only reason I am not on the lease is because I chose not to be in order to hurry the process since I was out of state at the time (this is documented in emails). I have agreed to move out by april 1 2009 -- the lease is up oct -- but she insists I move by march 1. With a difference of one month I've been toying with the idea of just ignoring her. What are my rights, if any, and what response? Thanks!

you will be able to get the most accurate answer from someone in your own area who is familiar with local landlord/tenant laws,but my assumption would be that without a lease(a legal binding document) you don't have a leg to stand on. In my area,without a lease,you would be considered a month to month tenant & could be asked to leave at any time. unfortunately,verbal agreements have no standing. if it's not in writing it's not an agreement.
