Radiant heating is the best source in many cases. Radiators can work on the same heat source (typically a boiler). Other options include forced air, especially high velocity, but those cost more and are less comfortable compared to radiant climate control. Why do I say radiant is best? Well, it cheaper to operate in most cases and less dusty. Radiant systems can be expensive to install. The maintenance is pretty easy too compared to cleaning air ducts and changing filters, etc. There are other types of radiant heaters including electrical systems built into flooring or tubes installed below the floor. Electrical systems are cheaper to install but can be expensive to operate. Good luck.
