Looking to refurbish some windows in Noe Valley. Does anyone have recommendations?

Asked by Alejandro Foung, San Francisco, CA Tue Nov 18, 2008

I have approximately 10 windows which need replacement panes. Yelp doesn't seem to have very good resources, so I'm hoping the folks on Trulia Voices can help me out! Let me know if you have any people you might be able to refer me to. Thanks!

Hi Alejandro,

Try http://a-pluswindows.com/ . They replaced windows for a few of my seller clients. I have more resources on my website or please contact me directly for any not listed. We have a great network of reliable service providers and I am always happy to pass on referrals.

If you need more San Francisco home buying or selling tips for Noe Valley or San Francisco real estate, in general, please check out my blog or send me an email.

Best of luck with those panes!

Alejandro,

I would recommend that you get ini touch with Valdez at Colliers Warehouse. He knows windows and the San Francisco homes. The showroom is at 90 Dorman Ave off Barnveld (runs parrallel with Industrial off Old Bayshore).

My handy-man is great at installing windows and very reasonably priced. Name is Richard Wheatley @ 415-637-9670. He does all kinds of remodeling also. Kitchens, bathrooms, new hardwood floors, tile work, installing new crown molding around the floor and ceiling of a room to make it really give it a ''''stately'' look.
You will not be disappointed at his prices. he also lives in the area.

Hello Alejandro.......I would suggest going to a Home Depot or a Lowes if there are any in your area and ordering the window panes. They usually contract out with other businesses which can perform the work of installing them. Good luck!
