Looking for a 203k loan experienced contractor in bergen county, nj.

Under contract for a home in fair lawn and are being approved for a 203 k loan for renovations. Need a contractor who had been cleared already by FHA to do the renovations.

You need to go to http://203kContractorsNewJersey.com to locate the certified and approved 203k Contractors for New Jersey.

One thing to clear up about your question is that FHA does not "clear" or certify or approve contractors for the 203k loan. Lenders making the loan do this. Because of the education program that the above 203k contractor directory has, lenders have been using it as their approval method for contractors.

Thank you for the response. I looked him up and found that his a home inspector. I really need a contractor because we are meeting with a HUD home inspector today. If you know of one please drop his name. Thanks!,,,

You can easily find one in the yellow pages, yellowpages.com or call a realtor in your area to see if they know anyone...
