Typically no. They may wave a few class requirements. I would call the Texas Real Estate Department. Best of luck on your transition!

It is tough for anyone to find a rental right now. Rentals are in very short supply. So many people have been displaced by Sandy. So many people who thought they would be back in their homes are finding that they cannot move back to their homes yet and are seeking rentals. I tell everyone who is seeking a rental to be very flexible, because there are lots of would-be renters and not enough vacancies to go around. Good luck. ... more

Perhaps you were thinking of the 2BR Shadow Lake condo on Rutland Court that was listed for $149,900? It just went Under Contract today and is no longer available. I'd be glad to look for other similar listings for you- just give me a call at (732) 239-0739 or email me at ldunikoski@dianeturton.com. Thanks!

Hi Kathleen,

This is an interesting question.....if I understand this correctly, since Alabama is one of the states that Florida has a reciprocal agreement with, the question becomes one of whether Florida will accept a reciprocal arrangement from a previously non-accepted reciprocal agreement.

To be on the safe side, it probably would be best to check with Florida's FREC. They will be able to provide you with the clarity you require.

Good luck,

Bill

Susan McLaughlin answered:
Hi Erin,

I would go the reverse route, which is what you are asking, which is to focus on the complexes that you know are approved. Call me for the link to the list of VA & FHA approved complexes in Red Bank. It is is short list, I'm afraid, but we can get you in a new home! For example, does it have to be Red Bank, or do you just want to be in the area? There are fine border towns, which would increase your options and lower your taxes, too.

Please call and report it to the Police Department at 732-530-2700. They have taken reports on other rental scammers in town and this may be useful in putting a halt to it.

answered:
Judy, as Deb Madey stated, in some parts (as is generally the case where I am in Ocean County) the Realtors are very involved and often like to see a copy of the commitment.

So that I cover myself, I always send an email to the borrower confirming that they don't mind because the conditions can contain some sensitive information at times. Though I don't recall any specific law regarding the commitment, common sense tell me that it falls under your general privacy rights-as Robin has stated.

Fortunately for me, I never had a client who refused to allow me to forward the commitment. Is there a specific reason that you don't want your Realtor to see the commitment?

Good luck.
