Morning,

This property is in pending, so there is an accepted offer. There are no documents uploaded to this listing, so it would be difficult to determine without a property condition report. There are mold remediation programs to deal with this type of problem. Hopefully, that is how it was handled. Mold does not necessarily mean a home is "non-livable". In most cases, not all, mold can be removed safely. ... more

No Central Air. Seller has a window unit on each floor. Because the home is so well insulated that seems to be enough to keep the home cool

Hello Ami:

Thank you for inquiring about the property in Racine located at 1726 Ellis Avenue. Unfortunately this home is already under contract and is no longer available for the Seller doing a Seller Financing. Can I assist you with something else? Upon your request I would be happy to compile a list of available homes for sale where the Seller is willing to offer some seller financing or concessions. Just let me know! Thanks. Hi Lynn,

I told you I would get back to you so even though you have pretty much the same answers, I am. As in my first answer, there is no garage or slab and I also confirmed that there is no alley. And Jcrimmings already stated what I found out this morning from the listing agent. He appears to be very familiar with the neighborhood you are searching in. Why not get in touch with him to help you find that perfect home.

Wishing you good luck.

David Bellovary answered:
Hi Michael,

The ranch style condos on Casper Ct do NOT have basements. That is one of the reasons why the price is so low. If you are looking for a ranch style condo with a extra deep full basement, I have one listed at 9916 Prairie Crossing Drive in the Village of Caledonia. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, 1608 sq.ft., 2-car attached garage, deck overlooking a pond, 2-way fireplace, 6-panel doors, ceramic tile entry and baths, hardwood floors, knock down drywall finish, cathedral ceiling with skylites, casement windows, nature trails throughout a conservancy subdivision. The list price is $214,900. If you would like to take a look at it, or any others, give me a call or email me. If you have any other questions, do the same.

Thanks,

Donna Panico answered:
When considering a foreclosed property, a buyer must be somewhat flexible in regards to response times from the bank/seller as well as terms of the offer. Closing dates do not always happen in a timely fashion. There may be additional costs that you might otherwise have not incurred with a traditional sale such as title insurance. Most bank/sellers will not even consider an offer from a buyer who has not been preapproved at a lending institution. Sometimes those bank/sellers will demand that a buyer is preapproved through their organization in addition to the buyer's actual lender. Most bank/sellers will never accept an offer that is contingent upon the sale of another property unless the sale of that property is expected to close within a very short period of time. A buyer will not receive a property condition disclosure when purchasing a foreclosed home. Though a buyer understands that they are purchasing a foreclosed home "as is," they are still entitled to have a home inspection for their own knowledge. Should they find a serious defect with the property, the buyer does have the ability to walk away from the transaction provided they retained that right in the initial offer. I hope this answers you question. If you have any other specific questions in regards to foreclosures, please feel free to contact me at donnapanico@gmail.com. ... more
