I, too have lived in these areas over the years. You will see where homes have had the noise barrier insulation work, where, when planes are near, you cannot hear even inside! The best thing is to go to the homes that interest you and sit in the yard a while. That's what I do with my clients...we find
the homes, and physically check out the sights, sounds and smells...Get your agent to help you do the same...Liz 612-986-4105

Hi Coconut2,

I just answered that question on your previous question. The best way to check the flight pattern is to go online and get the flight tracker at the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) website.

http://www.macnoise.com/

The noise level is not too bad at Lynnhurst but by the time you move further East/SouthEast as close as the Windom neighborhood the planes are descending and the noise level is higher.

I lived in both areas previously and can tell you Lynnhurst is quieter, however your quieter and mine are subjective. You'd need to check the flight tracker and head over there during the peak time to see how you feel about it.

I hope this was helpful and let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Thankyou, Claire Bastien

Hi, coconut2!
I would still suggest you go over to the Lynnhurst area at different times of day and night to see how much it bothers you. I can only say through 20 years in this business, that what bothers one person doesn't phase the next person in the least! Only you can be the judge of what it means to you.

I've sold many properties in the area, and, reports from those clients suggests it's not as much of a problem there as it is closer to the airport. So, they seem perfectly content to be there!

Good luck~
