How much further from work is it verse the other location?
Does the cost of gas times 2 cover the difference in price of rent?
Do you hate where you are now?
Do you have kids trying to find a better school system?

Financially the answer is simple. cost of getting to work compared to rental cost difference. Lifestyle, priceless. That is where you make a personal decision. Personally, I am a saver. I have more money saved because I made the cheap decisions instead of the nice ones. What you do is up to you.

Hi Nana. You give no reasons whatsoever. So, you want to move fifty yards over from where you now live? Why? What is your motivation? Perhaps your current apartment is closer to Ave B than first ave and you want to be further west.

It doesn't seem to make much sense but you must have a reason, yes?

A decision only you can make based on your wants, needs, financials, and lifestyle.
