I'm taking Amtrak to Boston.

Hi Herman,

For a more specific answer you can go directly to the following link on the Metro North website:

Trust me. My husband is a train conductor for Metro North and we live off the New Haven line in Westchester County.

Just click on any station in Westchester County and the station information will appear including parking.

Are you parking for the weekend? Port Chester, Rye, Harrison, Mamaroneck, Larchmont, Pelham and Mount Vernon East all have FREE parking for weekends and holidays. New Rochelle does not as they also service Amtrak at this stop.

Remember to purchase your ticket before you get on the train at either a ticket window or a ticket machine as the conductors will charge a surcharge above the regularly priced ticket.

Good luck!

In addition to Metro North parking, you may want to see if there is a gas/service station located near the transit stop. Sometimes they will rent you a space for the day at an inexpensive price.

Have you consider a taxi OR friend OR family OR business associate to drop you off AND pick you up.

If you are taking the Amtrak out of New Rochelle then you can always call the City of New Rochelle-Dept of Development at (914) 654- 2189 for parking information and prices.
