Hi Peggy
You will find excellent choices for condo or townhomes close to the mall.
Good luck. When will you be locating here? Winter is a good time to find a value.

Bloomington, in general, is a pretty nice area to live and work...and shop! You will be able to find plenty of townhomes and condos for $100,000 and up. It just depends on your desired criteria.

You should have a realtor setup a search for you on their website and go and review some of these in person with the agent. There are numerous available right now.

Good Luck!

Assuming you meant $250,000, there are currently 11 condos and townhomes, with 1 and 2 bedrooms, 1-3 bathrooms, and priced between $195,000 and $258,400, within walking distance to the Mall. Due to the presence of the Mall, these areas tend to have an active Police presence, and thus would be considered safe.

I hope that helps.

Hi Peggy I'm not really sure of your question. Did you mean $250.00 per month for rent? Or $250,000 for a purchse price? I would think rents would start around $800 or $900 in that area for an aprtment. Michael
