What are average wages in Palm Coast? What search engines do you use?

Asked by Monica, New Jersey Wed Mar 20, 2013

Other than Careerbuilder (gives schooling options) what other options are there for job searches in Palm Coast? How is the job front there for blue collared workers? Ex: Welder/Construction worker - what what should we expect as a wage?

Hi Monica,
You can also try, http://www.palmcoastgov.com/ There are links there, including one for the Chamber of Commerce, that may be useful. As for wages, I've found around $10/hr to be the average starting pay, but experience can add to that.

In the area of construction, there may be some good opportunities. I've noticed an increase in new construction starts, and there are a lot of short sale and foreclosure homes that could be a good source of renovations.

As always, if I can help in any way, please feel free to contact me directly.

Try looking through some of the local papers online such as http://www.palmcoastobserver.com/ or http://www.news-journalonline.com/. They can give you an overview of things and some job information. Job search sites like Indeed.com or juju.com can also help with job search.

Please get in touch with any other questions.
