Hi Karen, check out Louisville, CO! We relocated from Northern California in November, 2005 with our two young girls. We were used to the progressive, educated, diverse environment in the San Francisco Bay Area, and wondered how we would adapt to Colorado...it's been great! People are very open and friendly accepting of different views. The Boulder Valley School district is one of the best in the State, and you have many options for top notch private schools if you choose.

Definately Niwot. I would actually sugest Boulder itself, but Niwot out of those 3 is close enough. For artistic souls, Boulder is the home! There is something great for everyone.

That is a tough question to answer. I think all 3 would be about the same.

It is pretty tough to answer a question like this, because if anyone says that one is better for the reasons your asking, we would take a chance of being accused of steering.
All three of the towns you listed are great areas, you might also want to include Nederland, it also is in Boulder county.
