Asked by Clara, Syracuse, NY Thu Dec 6, 2007

I noticed couple of the realtors( Deborah Madey, Artur Urbans…)lived in CA, northern CA. How you compare that area to CT? schools, people, culture etc?

I've lived in CT my whole life. I've lived and worked in just about every part of the state. CT has everything you can want. Beaches, rural countryside, histroical places, the world's biggest casinos, cities with night life, 4 season weather, plenty of drinking water, excellent proximity between NYC and Boston, and the number 2 ranked public school system in CT. CT is also a melting pot for the world, with a place for everyone. Let me know if I can help you find a home.

You shoudl check out Litchfield County. Its much less expensive than the shorline areas, and has kept its rural character. Yet it is only 1 1/2 hours from NYC and has no traffic! Give me a call for more info.

Dear Clara,
A Connecticut shoreline resident for over 26 years, I can definitely state that it is I have lived further inland in the Rocky Hill area and worked in Hartford, and now sell real estate along the shoreline between New Haven and New London. We are blessed to live in a highly desirable area with access to major cities, beautiful beaches, wonderful schools, culture and recreation, etc. For more specific information, please feel free to contact me. I would be happy to help.

Best regards,

Clara I have been a resident of Connecticut for over 18 years and I love it. I love that there are areas that make you feel that you are in a Country Magazine and then there are parts the lift up your spirits, that is the "City Life."
I currently live and work in the North Eastern part of Connecticut. "The quiet corner."
If you are planning to relocate to Connecticut, need further assistance or have any other questions, please feel free to contact me. (860)377-0411 or email me
Clara check out these websites for more info about CT; & ENJOY!!

Hi Clara,
I live in Fairfield County. I was born and raised here and I am now bringing up my son in Fairfield. The school systems are outstanding, friendly people, easy commute to New York City. I actually went to College in California, Marymount in Los Angeles, then I moved to Northern California. I would compare Fairfield County to Palo Alto, I loved Palo Alto because it reminded me of home. Are you think of re-locating to Connecticut from Syracuse?
