What is your price range? There may be better alternatives closer to the Beaches.

Cape May Court House has a nice small town feel, especially on Main Street (which is also RT 9). They have some very nice older homes that are well maintained in the heart of town. There are also some newer developments in CMCH and Swainton.

Excellent area with a small town feel. The link will lead you to some very good values.
